I have the same problem! After years of training and riding horses my left quad is bigger from getting in the saddle. My trainer figured this out but isn't too concerned right now. I'm guessing unilateral/one side training with alittle more work on the right? After all that's how the left side got bigger....

You can do the one sided training yes but do not just quit on the other. Most all competitors are "right handed" or larger on one side or the other size wise. Don't let this discourage you. I ran track and have one calf where the Soleus is bigger and on the other leg the Gastrocnemious the large calf muscle is larger from running counter clockwise on a track for so many years. I have never had any judge make a comment about it.

Being a judge I really don't see minor variations that much. We usually only see the silhouette of your body or the overall symmetry. Torn muscles and Lordosis of the back are pretty glaring only. Don't be to alarmed with your small imperfections so much as working all your weak bodyparts to get them to match up in harmony with your strong parts. [/list]

Hey thanks for the info.!!!
I guess that would explain why my trainer/natural BB was not too concerned.
