I just wanted to say thank you to NANBF and all its promoters for starting this forum...this is really great!! Since this is my first year competing in bodybuilding, I have only met other girls when at competitions. This will definitly help in making new friends. Right now the majority of my secrets and pointers are coming from figure girls (love ya all), but what they do to be comp ready is much different from what the bodybuilders have to do. So anyway, I sure hope more people jump on the bandwagon!!

By the way, my next comp is coming up soon!! The Golds Classic in Overland Park Kansas....any other competitiors out there???

You are very welcome! I told Fred and the other promoters how valuable this forum could be for the organization in terms of growth...beyond that its just fun to be able to stay in touch with all the great people in the great people in the NANBF!

Cori, our Novice winner at our Southern States Classic? If this is the same Cori you will have a great chance to win your pro card. Just be leaner.

This is great I agree. There is a true difference between Natural bodybuiding women's advice and Bodybuilding.com and others advice. If you know what i mean.

Hi John, yes this is the same Cori....I am working on the leaness. I am feeling good and it is still 3 and a half weeks out. Not sure if I will be lean enough, but I am sure puting in the effort! Been 100% on everything!!

I didnt plan to do this show, but I changed my mind. I have a friend competing in figure and I wanted to see her. I also wanted to see the Pro's!! This will be a fun show, as they all are!

Lori thanks....but you are partial...your a friend!!! You dont know what the cards will deal you till you show up at the show. You try and you try to get it right, but hormones can mess it all up. Plus you never know who else is showing up. All you can do is bring your best to the platform and hope that is enough. I am not expecting anything....just going for it and wishing for the best. Thanks though girl I really appreciate your enthusiasm!!!

Well I did it!! Got that Pro Card! I still cant believe it! Did a photo shoot this morning with all the Pro's! How cool is that!!!!! I had a blast!!!!

Cori, you look awesome!!!! What a difference a year makes!! I saw you at the Bluffs last year and then again this year - WOW!!! I did the Bluffs last year and gained some weight back. I would like to do another show this spring. I would really like to talk to you about what you did for your training and nutrition off season. I live here in South Omaha.

I knew you would do it this year. You did not go backwards like so many competitors do. You got leaner and that is all it took. Great balanced symmetry. And for all those rookies on this forum this women is the best mandatory and free poser that I have seen in a while. If you get a chance to watch her in person or on DVD just fast forward to her and learn how it is done.

Are you going to come down to KC for our contest? Training anyone? We are also doing our seminar on Jan 10th and you are welcome to come and give some advice and work with aspiring newcomers. I think you would be an inspiration for them. You can e-mail me about it or call us 816-781-9308.

John thank you for the fantastic compliment!!! I am thinking about coming to the show. I have two friends who will be competing, one in figure and the other in Bodybuilding. If you would like me to come down for the seminar I can try.....just let me know. I will have to make arangements for a babysitter. But I would love to help out if you could use me.
