Sorry I have not replied for awhile. Becky keeps me busy with allot of Honey Do's.

Jason and all thanks for the moral support. I am going to need all the help I can get. I never dreamed I would actually get here especially at my age. So this is going to be fun no matter how I finish. For me it is meeting and helping all you guys and gals meet your goals. Jason hopefully the diet worked for you again?

Addressing the height class thing. This comes up frequently with newbies and others. What is interesting to note is that allot of the times the lightest people in the class win it. In fact our Southern State Classic was won by me the first year when it was promoted by Scot Dickerson. I weighed 150 at 5'7". 2 years of our show the short class guys won the overall. Steve Ellison and and the other Escapes me were the lightest in there class as well. Both were like 145lbs. Really height class allow you to come in the best shape you can without trying waste yourself for the next class below. When we judge it starts with symmetry and if there is a tie it ends with symmetry. You have no idea how many time we have ties within classes for placing's other than 1st. So symmetry is the key. Of course all the other factors need to be there but symmetry is very big with us. I have seen time and again guys giving up 20lbs to another and beat the big guy every time. What is most frustration is seeing a guy that competes year in and year out and you tell them to leanup but he is afraid to lose size and they come in smooth as a baby's butt and do not place well. THere are guys right now that have competed with us at the NSSC that could be Pro's if they would just lean up. You tell them and they just do not listen. Sometimes I just want to strangle them. LOL!

Good luck to all and I can't wait to see you all.
